
Corriculum
Our 36-month Family Medicine Residency follows an ACGME-compliant schedule of 13 four-week blocks per year. Residents are expected to complete all rotations as scheduled. Detailed schedules, goals, and objectives are managed via GME Orbit, with rotation objectives distributed two weeks prior to each start date.

PGY-1
Introduction to the basics of residency, behavioral science, community medicine, resident wellness, qualifications for Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, procedural skills, team building, quality improvement, scholarly activity, EMR training, new innovations training, expectations and milestones, SIMS lab and new hire orientation.
First years have a total of 3 weeks’ vacation and are scheduled for 1-week intervals during selected rotations.
